Registered Disabled Persons Seeking Employment
Employment services for persons with disabilities under the new regulations of the Ministry of Labour, which are preparing to be announced. The regulations require private enterprises and government agencies to hire persons with disabilities at a ratio of approximately 50 employees per one person with disability. If enterprises do not hire persons with disabilities, they must contribute to the Fund for the Promotion and Development of the Quality of Life of Persons with Disabilities or support self-employment for persons with disabilities or their caregivers through concessions, providing sales venues for goods or services, contracting work, internships, or providing reasonable assistance to persons with disabilities or their caregivers. Government agencies that do not hire persons with disabilities must pay into the Fund but must also support self-employment for persons with disabilities or their caregivers in a similar manner.
