Results of the Survey on the Situation of Children and Women in Thailand

The National Statistical Office conducted the first MICS project (2548-2549), which was part of the 3rd round of the international MICS project, between December 2548 and February 2549. Subsequently, the second project was conducted as part of the 4th round of the international MICS project in 2555. Then, the third project was conducted as part of the 5th round of the international MICS project in 2558. Finally, in 2562, the fourth project was conducted as part of the 6th round of the international MICS project. This survey focused on establishing a baseline database for the SDGs and to fill in data not available from other sources. Due to the success of previous projects, the National Statistical Office conducted the fifth project using the same set of tools as before (6th round of the international MICS project). The implementation of the Survey on the Situation of Children and Women in Thailand in 2565 was a result of cooperation from various agencies. This survey might not have been successful without budgetary support from the Thai government and UNICEF.
