Average relative humidity
Relative Humidity (RH) is the ratio of Absolute Humidity to the maximum possible Absolute Humidity (which depends on the current air temperature). A relative humidity reading of 100 percent means the air is saturated with water vapor and cannot hold any more water or vapor. While 100% RH can cause rain, it does not mean that humidity must be 100 percent for rain to occur.
