Monitoring and Evaluation of District Checkpoint Operations

During the New Year and Songkran festivals, a period when many people travel back to their hometowns in other provinces and for tourism, combined with Saraburi Province being a transportation hub allowing travel to various provinces in the Central, Eastern, Northern, and Northeastern regions, the Saraburi Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, together with local administrative organizations and relevant agencies, has set up district checkpoints to prevent and reduce road accidents and increase the safety of the public using roads in Saraburi Province and those using traffic routes passing through Saraburi Province during these festivals. In this regard, the Saraburi Provincial Statistical Office, together with the Saraburi Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, has monitored and evaluated the work of the district checkpoints, with the objective of monitoring and evaluating the work results, and collecting various opinions and recommendations to be used as guidelines for improving the implementation process in the future.
