Elderly Receiving Living Allowances

Number of elderly persons receiving the elderly pension. This refers to elderly persons aged 60 and above who receive financial assistance to help cover monthly living expenses. The elderly pension is paid on a sliding scale based on age: - Age 60-69: 600 Baht per month - Age 70-79: 700 Baht per month - Age 80-89: 800 Baht per month - Age 90 and above: 1,000 Baht per month Data is compiled from three sources: 1. Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, as of August 2023 2. Pattaya City, as of 26 July 2023 3. Department of Local Administration (from 1 October 2021 to 30 September 2022).
