Thai Border Exports

1. Border trade refers to the export of goods from the Kingdom of Thailand to countries sharing a border with Thailand and the import of goods from those countries into the Kingdom of Thailand, conducted at designated border checkpoints on land for the purpose of inspecting transported goods. This includes the export of goods from the Kingdom to third countries and the import of goods from third countries through neighboring countries sharing a border with Thailand, in accordance with transport agreements between countries (Trade and Investment Cooperation Division). 2. Transit trade refers to the export of goods through the border of a neighboring country sharing a border with Thailand to a third country, and the import of goods from a third country through the border of a neighboring country sharing a border with Thailand, in accordance with transport agreements between countries. Currently, data is classified only for China (South), Vietnam, and Singapore (Trade and Investment Cooperation Division).
