Minimum/Maximum Water Levels
Dead storage level is the lowest water level in a reservoir; water below this level cannot be discharged through the normal outlet structure. It represents water reserved for sedimentation (Dead Storage) or the lowest level maintaining reservoir management stability. Normal Pool Level is the highest water level allowed in the reservoir during flood periods or heavy rainfall entering the reservoir. It is designed for normal storage. If the water level exceeds this, it utilizes capacity known as "Surcharge Storage" to hold floodwater.
