New Pulmonary Tuberculosis Treatment Success Rate

Treatment success rate for new pulmonary tuberculosis patients, defined as new pulmonary tuberculosis patients whose treatment outcomes are either cured or treatment completed. 1.1 Cured: New pulmonary tuberculosis patients who had positive laboratory test results for tuberculosis bacteria before starting treatment, completed the full treatment course, and had negative sputum test results in the final month and at least once before that. 1.2 Treatment Completed: New pulmonary tuberculosis patients who completed the full treatment course without evidence of treatment failure. These patients had at least one negative sputum test result before the end of treatment, but did not have a negative sputum test result in the final month. Note: NA means not yet assessable because some patients have not yet completed their treatment period.
