Cybersecurity Maintenance Act
His Majesty King Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun, by Royal Command, has decreed that it is appropriate to have a law on Cybersecurity. This Emergency Decree has some provisions regarding the restriction of rights and freedoms of individuals, which Section 26 in conjunction with Sections 28, 32, 33, 34, 36, and 37 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand, allows to be done by virtue of the power of the provisions of the law, reason, and necessity in restricting the rights and freedoms of individuals under this Emergency Decree to make cybersecurity effective and to have measures to prevent, respond to, and reduce risks from cyber threats affecting the security of the state and internal peace and order. The enactment of this Emergency Decree is in accordance with the conditions stipulated in Section 26 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand, and thus His Majesty graciously commands that this Emergency Decree be enacted with the advice and consent of the National Legislative Assembly acting as the National Assembly, as follows.
