Counting of establishments is determined as follows: 1) If an establishment conducts more than one type of economic activity at the same location (e.g., wholesale and retail of ready-made garments), and each activity has separate accounting systems and can distinctly separate the number of workers, each activity type is counted as a separate establishment. If separate accounting cannot be maintained, they are counted as one establishment. 2) If an establishment has multiple operational locations at different sites, each site is counted as one establishment.
