Project to develop a mangrove resource database by classifying land use zones in mangrove areas using high-resolution satellite imagery. The objective is to create a database of mangrove areas and classify land use zones in mangrove areas across 24 coastal provinces. High-resolution satellite imagery from 7 satellites recorded in B.E. 2562 was used: Thaichote, Pleiades, Planet, ZiYuan-3, SPOT-7, GeoEye, and Gaofen, totaling 239 images. Land use classification was performed using computer-assisted interpretation combined with visual interpretation. In this instance, land use was classified into two categories: intact mangrove forest and peatland forest areas.
