Intact Mangrove Forest Areas
Project to develop a mangrove forest resource database by classifying land use zones in mangrove forests using high-resolution satellite imagery. The objective is to create a database of mangrove forest areas and classify land use zones in mangrove forests across 24 coastal provinces. High-resolution satellite imagery data from 7 satellites in 2019 (B.E. 2562) were used: Thaichote, Pleiades, Planet, ZiYuan-3, SPOT-7, GeoEye, and Gaofen, totaling 239 images. Land use interpretation was performed using computer-based interpretation combined with visual interpretation.
