Powers and duties of the agency The Bueng Kan Provincial Cooperative Office has the following powers and duties (according to the Ministerial Regulation on the Division of Government Departments of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, published in the Royal Gazette, Volume 131, Part 88 G, dated 30 December 2014): 1. Conduct work related to cooperative law, land for livelihood law, and other related laws. 2. Promote and develop all types of cooperatives and farmer groups. 3. Promote, disseminate, and provide knowledge regarding cooperative ideology, principles, and methods to cooperative personnel, farmer groups, and the general public. 4. Promote and develop cooperative businesses and farmer groups. 5. Work jointly with or support the work of other relevant or assigned agencies. General Administration Division powers and duties: 1) Prepare and compile work plans and budget proposals. 2) Monitor, expedite, and evaluate work performance according to plans and various projects, including compiling cooperative statistics and data. 3) Financial, accounting, material, and equipment work; personnel administration work; liaison and coordination work; and general secretarial and administrative work. 4) Conduct publicity and public relations work. 5) Perform other related work and as assigned. Cooperative Formation and Promotion Group powers and duties: 1) Study, analyze, and conduct the formation of cooperatives, farmer groups, women's cooperative groups, and youth cooperative groups. 2) Study and analyze for the promotion and development of cooperatives, farmer groups, women's cooperative groups, and youth cooperative groups. 3) Coordinate with relevant agencies to provide assistance
