Trucks for Rice Farming

Truck loading height must not exceed 3.00 meters from the road surface, except for trucks with a width exceeding 2.30 meters, which must not exceed 4.00 meters from the road surface. Container trucks must not exceed 4.20 meters from the road surface. Speed regulations: Trucks with a total weight (vehicle plus load) exceeding 1,200 kilograms must not exceed 60 km/h in Bangkok, Pattaya City, or municipal areas, and 80 km/h outside these areas. Trucks towing trailers must not exceed 45 km/h in Bangkok, Pattaya City, or municipal areas, and 60 km/h outside these areas. Trucks transporting dangerous goods on special expressways (Motorway, Sirat, Chalong Rat) must not exceed 60 km/h, and on Burapha Withi and Udon Ratcha expressways, must not exceed 70 km/h. Speed limits on Special Highway No. 7 (Bangkok-Pattaya) and Special Highway No. 9 (Kanchanaphisek Outer Ring Road): Trucks with a total weight (vehicle plus load) not exceeding 1,200 kilograms must not exceed 100 km/h. Other trucks, including those towing trailers, must not exceed 80 km/h. Driving restrictions: The Royal Thai Police have issued multiple traffic officer regulations prohibiting truck driving based on vehicle size, such as 4-wheel trucks, 6-wheel trucks, trucks with 10 wheels or more, and trucks with 3 or more axles.
