Dependency ratio
Ratio of the population outside the working-age group to the working-age population. The assumption is that the economically dependent population outside the working-age group includes children (under 15 years old) and the elderly (60 or 65 years old and above). The economically dependent population of other groups is the working-age population (15-59 or 15-64 years old).
