Households with Secure Housing and Durable Structures
The Yala Provincial Community Development Office conducts annual surveys of Basic Needs Data (BND). This data serves as a basis for improving quality of life. BND reflects the desired characteristics of Thai society according to minimum standard criteria, indicating what aspects of life quality Thais should have and the minimum living standards expected over a certain period. It enables citizens to assess their own, their family's, and their village/community's current quality of life levels and identify issues to address, thereby encouraging public participation in self, family, and community development.
