Water volume in Bueng Boraphet. The geomorphological characteristics of the Bueng Boraphet area are related to the Ping River fault line running from northeast to southwest and the upper Chao Phraya River floodplain, where multiple rivers converge. This caused subsidence in the upper Chao Phraya floodplain, forming a basin that later accumulated sediment to become the current lake.
