Aging Index is an indicator showing the comparison of the replacement structure between the elderly population group (aged 60 and above) and the child population group (aged under 15). It is calculated as the number of people aged 60 and above per 100 people aged under 15 (Thai nationals with names registered in household records as of 31 December)
