Organic rice production under the One Million Rai Organic Rice Promotion Project

Organic rice is rice production using natural methods. In areas where this agriculture is practiced, there must be no residual toxic or chemical substances, and contamination from chemicals in soil, water, and air must be avoided to ensure biological integrity in the ecosystem and restore environmental balance to the greatest extent possible. Synthetic chemicals and genetically modified organisms are not used. The focus is on using production factors with systematic management plans under organic agriculture production standards to achieve high yields, rich nutritional value, and freedom from toxins. This also helps reduce production costs and allows the application of natural raw materials for quality of life, supporting the sufficiency economy approach.
