Hotels, resorts, and homestays registered in the province

Section 4 of the Hotel Act B.E. 2557 "Hotel" means a place of accommodation established for business purposes to provide temporary lodging services for travelers or any other person for compensation. This does not include: (1) Places of accommodation established to provide temporary lodging services operated by government agencies, state enterprises, public organizations, or other state units, or for charitable or educational purposes, provided that they are not operated for profit or to distribute income. (2) Places of accommodation established with the purpose of providing residential lodging services charged on a monthly basis or more. (3) Other places of accommodation as specified in the Ministerial Regulation.
