Humidity

Relative humidity is the ratio of the amount of water vapor present in the air to the maximum amount of water vapor the air can hold at the same temperature, expressed as a percentage where full saturation equals 100%. Thailand is located in the tropics near the equator, resulting in hot and humid weather throughout most of the year, except in inland areas north of the central region where humidity decreases significantly. During the cool and hot seasons, particularly the hot season, humidity reaches its lowest annual levels. In these areas, the average annual humidity is 72-74%, dropping to 62-69% during the hot season.
