Volume of industrial waste disposal
Industrial waste, referred to by the Factory Act as 'waste materials' or 'unused materials,' means waste or unused items resulting from factory operations, including raw material reception, production, quality control, pollution treatment, machinery/equipment maintenance, and building demolition/construction within the factory premises. This includes sludge or residues from these processes in solid, liquid, or gaseous states. It also includes hazardous waste from office buildings and worker dormitories within the factory premises, excluding non-hazardous waste from offices and dormitories, such as printed documents, food scraps, and general solid waste.
