Royal Thai Government Gazette 8 September B.E.2558 (2015)Cosmetics Act B.E. 2558 (2015)BHUMIBOL ADULYADEJ, REX.Given on the 30th Day of August in the Year B.E. 2558 (2015);Being the 70th Year of the Present Reign,His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej is graciously pleased to proclaim that:Whereas it is expedient to revise the law on cosmetics;Be it, therefore, enacted by the King, by and with the advice and consent of the NationalLegislative Assembly, as follows:Article 1This Act is called the “Cosmetics Act, B.E. 2558 (2015).”Article 2This Act shall come into force as from the day following its publication in the RoyalThai Government Gazette.Article 3The Cosmetics Act, B.E. 2535 (1992) shall be repealed.Article 4In this Act:“Cosmetics” means:(1) A “cosmetic product” shall mean any substance or preparationintended to be placed in contact (by applying to, massaging or rubbing into,sprinkling or spraying on, dropping onto, introducing into, perfuming, or by any othermeans,) with the various external parts of thehuman body (epidermis, hair system, nails, lips and external genitalorgans) or with the teeth and the mucous membranes of the oralcavity with a vie
