Crop losses from drought
Disaster victims refer to individuals who have suffered hardship or loss from sudden disasters, excluding government agencies or state organizations. To provide assistance to disaster victims, the province must declare a public disaster area or an assistance area. Declaration of a sudden disaster area is a condition for disbursing assistance funds. In 2020-2024, Chaiyaphum Province did not declare a drought disaster area for crops, and therefore no assistance was provided to disaster victims.
