Survey Results for the Private Sector Compensation Survey Project

The National Statistical Office is the main agency responsible for producing basic economic and social data for the country. The Private Sector Compensation Survey is a joint project between the Civil Service Commission (CSC) and the National Statistical Office, initiated in 1996 and conducted every 2 years. This is the 8th survey, intended to compare the structure and rates of compensation between the private and public sectors nationally. The results are presented to the National Salary Committee (NSC) to serve as a guideline for reviewing and adjusting the public sector compensation system to align with labor market rates. The National Statistical Office wishes to thank all employers and stakeholders for their cooperation in providing data, which enables all sectors to use the data as a tool for planning, policy formulation, and budget allocation for national development.
