Aging index from registration

Aging Index is a measure comparing the replacement structure of the elderly population (aged 60 and over) with the child population (under 15 years). It is calculated as the number of people aged 60 and over per 100 people under 15 years (Thai citizens with names registered in the household register as of December 31).
