Dataset of registered Royal Volunteer Card holders in Surin Province, Surin Province Royal Volunteer Command Center. The Royal Volunteer Project is a royal initiative project established in B.E. 2560 (2017) to promote national unity and express gratitude to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, King Rama IX, and Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother. The project has a central command center located at the former site of Dusit Zoo. Royal Volunteers operate under the Royal Command in three categories: Development Volunteers, Disaster Relief Volunteers, and Special Duty Volunteers. The aim is to improve local community quality of life, monitor and prepare for disasters, and participate in royal ceremonies or important receptions. Surin Province has implemented activities across all three categories. The Provincial Command Center has issued guidelines and activity plans for Development Volunteers on national occasions at the provincial and district levels, following the Central Command Center's calendar. Provinces and districts regularly organize Development Volunteer activities at important sites and tourist attractions each month, and promote public service activities at the village, sub-district, and district levels (continuing, preserving, and extending).
