Elderly Receiving Old Age Allowance

Number of elderly persons receiving the elderly allowance. The elderly allowance is a monthly financial assistance to help reduce living expenses for persons aged 60 and over. The allowance amount is tiered by age: - Age 60-69: 600 baht/month - Age 70-79: 700 baht/month - Age 80-89: 800 baht/month - Age 90 and over: 1,000 baht/month. Data is compiled from three sources: 1. Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (as of August 2023); 2. Pattaya City (as of 26 July 2023); 3. Department of Local Administration (from 1 October 2021 to 30 September 2022).
