Elderly receiving care from family, community, state sector, or private sector
The Yala Community Development Office conducts annual surveys of Basic Necessities Survey (BNS) data to support quality of life development. BNS data reflects the desired characteristics of Thai society based on minimum standard indicators, specifying what aspects of quality of life Thais should have and the minimum living standards required over a given period. This enables citizens to assess their own, their families', and their villages/communities' current quality of life levels and identify issues requiring resolution, thereby encouraging public participation in self, family, and community development.
