Music performances by Piphat ensembles are mostly played at funerals. The music played is therefore quite sad, especially on the first night and the day of cremation. On other days, both sad and lively music may be played. Phetchaburi Province is also an important center for musical art. The传承 of Thai music ensembles in Phetchaburi Province is a传承 of the wisdom of Thai music teachers, resulting in many Piphat ensembles and Thai music ensembles today.
