Number of elderly persons receiving living allowances
Elderly person's living allowance. This refers to the monthly payment provided by the government to Thai citizens aged 60 and above who do not receive a regular income from government agencies, state enterprises, or local administrative organizations, in order to improve the quality of life of the elderly. The government pays according to age groups (according to Cabinet resolution on 1 Oct 2011).
